Once you see the potential of the platform - you will likely sign up for a trial. That is good, but then you will go down a rabbit hole of joining Facebook groups, watching YouTube tutorials and buying templates (or snapshots as we call them.)
DO NOT try and take a shortcut. There are none. It will take you about 6 months to become really familiar with the platform, assuming you spend some time on it every day.
DO NOT buy snapshots and 'ready-made' solutions. You won't understand them, and you won't know how to fix them when they break. Or you may even become overwhelmed when you see the complexity of what can be done.
DO NOT join 'gurus'. Many of them are selling shovels in a goldrush. But you need to be the miner, and you need to learn from other miners or maybe just do your own digging. Most of the 'tools' or templates they give away vary only slightly from what you can get for free as a template in the platform anyway.
DO NOT start selling until you have mastered the basics.
DO NOT start by trying to sell a 'FEATURE' to anyone that you cross paths with. E.g. you may think the LMS (Learning Management System) is great and you like eLearning, and then think you are going to post about your amazing LMS on LinkedIn or Facebook and be flooded with customers. Not gonna happen. (See WHAT to do below.)
DO NOT start by building out amazing systems and automations, and do not start by creating ads or your own creative collateral. You don't need business cards or any of that stuff - UNTIL YOU HAVE A CLIENT.
The following advice is genuine, and it is free. This is what I learned works.
If money is tight, simply join the free community and ask questions, watch and learn. You will need to budget to have to spend $100 -$500 USD a month for at least 6 months before you see a return.
The thing that takes the longest, because it is the hardest, is to really identify the actual problem you are going to solve (and for whom). It helps if it is a problem that you are familiar with.
Do not think too far ahead about how you are going to scale or how you will deal with xyz problem - just focus on understanding the problem you are solving and if/how your solution is fixing that for your target market.
If you do this right, you won't really have to 'SELL' --- which is great since few of us enjoy selling --- but you will simply be offering to help people with their problem and if it is real problem and you can really solve it, they will even start finding you.
